Dr. Pamini Rasalingam
MSc, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Rasalingam provides direct breastfeeding care for families. She has received her certification for Breastfeeding Courses for Health Professionals from the Halton Baby Friendly Initiative and Mohawk College. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Further, she is a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and the Breastfeeding Committee for Canada.
She is a Halton Healthcare Pediatrician with privileges at Milton Hospital, Oakville Hospital, and Georgetown Hospital. Dr. Rasalingam had previously served as Program Director for Pediatrics at Georgetown Hospital and as a staff Pediatrician at Belleville General Hospital. She is an Associate Professor at Queen’s University and an Academic Coach at Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine. She has completed training in psychotherapy and will see patients for Postpartum Depression on a consultation basis.
